Also I’ll speak on the next generation Xbox talk. I think the true reason they’re starting next generation early is because of the cost of the series x. Similar to the original Xbox clearly a lot of money went to making the series s and x. And with the current economy and the chip cost from AMD, I think Xbox gonna liberate themselves by starting next generation early and hopefully with better and cheaper technology to bring the cost down, just like they did with the 360.

PlayStation success throughout their entire 30 year run has been mostly due to third party software. This is why they made such a big deal about Xbox buying call of duty, most of PlayStations third party highest selling games are owned by Xbox and if Xbox buys more it’ll be even worse. Just like when they put games on PC for the first time people don’t see the vision yet 🗣️

Honestly I don’t care what Xbox does. As long as I can play some great games and Xbox is stacked already. Avowed does look really good and I’m excited to be able to play it soon. It’s not going to bother me if the game is 30 fps. Obsidian said themselves the game doesn’t need 60 fps. I’m sure they will update that later on after the game launches. But I’m very excited about some of these games coming out.

I really stopped caring once Sony was going the multiplat direction tbh (see Lego Horizon, Marathon, MLB The Show, Hiroki Totoki's words, etc.) Sony may be slower cause they lack resources but they are gonna do it. Next gen, Xbox will still have a console for entry-level and a pro model but they will also partner with PC companies to make their own PCs and handhelds with a gamer friendly version of Windows. I been thinking this for a long time, but there seems to be this bandwagon love specifically with the Japanese in gaming. People pretend they the only ones with pride, that they all loyal and stuff. 360 was such a great generation. The generation where being a gamer became cool. Online gaming, gamer score, achievements, a real UI, the first wireless controller, storage expansion, cloud saves, and so much more. I’d argue it’s the most influential console of all time. But the thing that I miss most about the 360 generation was that people weren’t afraid to give it and Microsoft props. Tho PlayStation still had brand loyalty, nobody kissed they ass unconditionally like they do now. I hope Xbox gets that chance soon
